(Pocket-lint) – The 2022 autumn internationals, or Autumn Nations Series, is now underway.
The competition sees Argentina, Australia, England, Fiji, France, Georgia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Samoa, Scotland, South Africa, and Wales battle it out over four rounds.
There’s no actual tournament structure per se, but the main test theme is northern vs southern hemisphere – with a few exceptions. Not all teams play the same number of matches – England have four matches, Ireland have three, for example, in what feels like a Six Nations vs the southern hemisphere and friends. But that does mean there’s lots of rugby and some cracking fixtures.
